Director of Development – Solar & Energy Storage

The Opportunity

A rapidly expanding renewable energy developer is seeking a Director of Development to lead the delivery of utility-scale Solar and Energy Storage projects throughout Texas.

This leadership position will oversee development teams, drive project strategy and play a key role in expanding one of the most exciting renewable energy portfolios in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Project Developers
• Oversee a portfolio of utility-scale Solar and BESS projects
• Develop project execution strategies
• Manage relationships with landowners, utilities, consultants and regulators
• Support acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives
• Report directly to executive leadership

Requirements

• 8+ years of renewable energy development experience
• Previous leadership or management experience
• Strong understanding of ERCOT market dynamics
• Proven track record delivering utility-scale projects
• Exceptional commercial and stakeholder management skills
